1. Scope
This policy applies to everything you do with MUZAI — on muzaimusic.com and in the MUZAI mobile apps. It covers the prompts and lyrics you write, the files you upload, the tracks you generate, and anything you publish to Discover. It forms part of the Terms of Service; where the two overlap, both apply.
2. What MUZAI is for
Creating original music: songs from a description or from your own lyrics, covers of tracks in your own MUZAI Library, and voice personas built from a recording of your own voice. Vocals are synthesised. Use the result for your own listening, for sharing, or — on a paid plan — commercially, within the limits set by the Terms.
3. Sexual content is prohibited
Do not use MUZAI to generate, request or publish sexually explicit, pornographic or sexually suggestive material of any kind. This includes lyrics, prompts, titles, artwork and audio. There is no adult mode, no unfiltered mode and no exception for private use. Any sexual content involving a minor, or any material that sexualises a person who appears to be a minor, is reported and the account is closed immediately and permanently.
4. Real people: voice, likeness and identity
Do not use MUZAI to imitate the voice, likeness or identity of a real person without that person’s permission. Do not name a living or recently deceased artist and ask for their voice or style of performance, and do not attempt to work around this with misspellings, phonetic spellings or other evasions. Do not present generated audio as a genuine recording of a real person.
The voice persona feature exists for your own voice. When you upload a voice recording you confirm that the voice is yours, or that you have the documented permission of the person it belongs to, and that you accept responsibility for that claim. We may ask you to evidence it, and we may remove a persona at any time.
5. Hateful, dangerous and unlawful content
Do not use MUZAI to generate content that attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation; that harasses, threatens or bullies a specific person; that promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide; that promotes illegal drugs or weapons; that spreads deliberate disinformation; or that is unlawful in any jurisdiction where you or your audience are located.
6. What you upload
Everything you supply as source material — a recording, a voice, an image, lyrics — must be yours to use, or used with permission from whoever holds the rights. Do not upload copyrighted recordings, stems or lyrics you have no licence for, and do not upload personal data about other people.
7. How this is enforced
Prompts and generated output are subject to automated and manual review. We may refuse a generation, remove content, unpublish it from Discover, withdraw a voice persona, suspend an account, or close an account permanently. Serious violations — in particular anything involving minors — are reported to the competent authorities. Credits spent on a generation that is refused for policy reasons are returned; credits are not refunded when an account is closed for a violation.
8. Reporting a violation
If you believe something on MUZAI breaks this policy, or that your voice, likeness or copyrighted work has been used without your permission, write to support@muzaimusic.com with the track link and a description. We review every report and respond. This policy is reviewed periodically and may be updated; the current version is always the one published here.
